For many entrepreneurs, business can be a bit slow during the holidays. When times get a bit slow, what do you do to get through them? If you have tips/ ideas, please, feel free to post them to share the love!
Even the most successful women have some really tough times and I would love to share just 4 simple ways you can get through the tough times.
1) Every business has a cycle…get to know YOURS. If you are a new business and are not sure of this, interview, talk with people who are in your industry and find out how they handle the slow times.
2) Use this time to plan for next year, create goals, programs, develop ideas, research, test, become organized, give yourself some ‘creative space’.
3) Enlist your “A team”..your team of support to help bring to you fresh new ideas, new approaches, fresh insight and creative product/program development. Their input alone can do wonders for your business!
4) Become MASTERFUL at marketing. Regardless of how slow any business gets, never, ever stop marketing. Make it a priority. Be consistent and clear on your message. Make sure to cover your bases, both online and offline.
I just started Beach Body’s INSANITY workout series and when I mean just started…I mean TODAY. My husband bought the program so we could shake our fitness up a little bit and to save time. I am a member of the Y, however when there are days where I need to maximize every moment, working out at home is a super time saver for me. Do you find that true for yourself?
As I was taking the FIT test…which was an absolute killer….I noticed in the video Insanity’s tag line…GET FIT or GET OUT. From a marketing standpoint..I LOVE IT! It is straight to the point…which is absolutely the type of person I am. Clear away the B.S. and get down to what really matters.
You can apply the idea of this tagline in your daily life and in your business….either you get your business fit (the way you want it to be, to run, to feel,…or get out of business) Seriously..if you intend to do what it takes to get your body fit, than why not apply that same principle in your business…in your life!
2009 is almost ending. Have you thought about how you are going to play a bigger game in your business next year? What steps have you taken or are taking to get ‘fit’ both in your business, and your health?
I have some big plans and would love for you to join me! Keep tuning in as things are in the works!
Feel free to comment below as to how you plan on ‘getting fit’ in your life, your business or physically! I’d love to hear and to celebrate YOU!
I used to (and still do) love to get those little munchkins at Dunkin’ Donuts. My favorite were the chocolate ones with the sugar coating around them… boy were they yummy! At 60 calories a pop, a few can add up to a few more …. before you know it, you have eaten what equates to a whole donut, or even two!!
I don’t frequent Dunkin’ Dounuts, but I just read an super suprising fact that I had to share with all of you busy moms! As you rush around in the morning and have to drop your children off at school or have an appointment and you didn’t plan on ‘breakfast’ as a priority before you ran out the door, than you can go to Dunkin’ Donuts and pick up their Egg White Turkey Sausage Flatbread Sandwich for 19 grams of protein 6 grams of fat and only 280 calories!! Who knew??
I haven’t actually tried this yet, but will very soon. The protein content for a fast food item is great, especially when you need it to keep that energy going
